Terms of Service & Service Policy

1. Existing Damage & Pre-Condition Disclaimer
Â
-
Liability Exclusions: Glint Wash is not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or structural flaws present prior to the commencement of service. This includes, but is not limited to:
-
Loose, cracked, or chipped masonry, paving, tiles, or concrete.
-
Degraded, rotted, or unsealed wood siding, decking, or trim.
-
Loose mortar, faulty window seals, damaged weather stripping, or failing roof shingles.
-
Pre-existing water intrusion or leaks around doors, windows, and light fixtures.
-
-
Surface Fragility: High-pressure and soft-washing treatments may expose or strip away unstable, already flaking paint, rust stains, or oxidized surfaces. We are not responsible for touch-ups or repairs resulting from pre-existing surface deterioration.
-
Pre-Inspection: Our technicians will conduct a visual pre-inspection where possible. Any noticeable pre-existing damage will be noted or photographed before work begins.
Â
2. Quotations & Scope of Work
Â
-
Information-Based Quotes: All estimates and preliminary quotes provided online, via email, over the phone, or through automated forms are based strictly on the details, photos, and measurements provided by the client.
-
Scope Verification: On the day of service, our team will verify the actual size, surface condition, and scope of work required on site.
-
Additional Work & Costs: If the site conditions differ significantly from the original details provided (e.g., severe heavy oil staining, larger surface area, unexpected stubborn organic build-up requiring specialized chemical treatment), or if the client requests additional areas to be washed, an updated quote will be provided. Any additional work will be performed only upon client approval and will be billed at an additional cost.
Â
3. Client Responsibilities
Â
To ensure a smooth service and prevent property damage, clients are requested to:
-
Secure Property: Ensure all windows and doors are fully closed and sealed tightly before the arrival of our team.
-
Clear the Work Area: Remove outdoor furniture, potted plants, vehicles, decorations, and personal items from the immediate cleaning area.
-
Water Access: Provide access to a working, external hose spigot with adequate water pressure for the duration of the service.
-
Pet & Child Safety: Keep children and pets safely indoors while pressure washing or soft washing equipment and cleaning agents are in operation.
Â
4. Satisfaction Guarantee & Claims
Â
-
Inspection Upon Completion: We ask that the client inspects the completed work alongside our technician where possible.
-
Reporting Concerns: Any claims regarding service quality or property damage must be reported to Glint Pro Wash in writing within 24 hours of job completion, accompanied by clear photo documentation.
